I painted this little landscape from an old reference photo taken on the Santa Rosa Ecological Plateau in California.  It was a favorite place to paint and hike when I lived there.  It's over 400 square acres of California Live Oak Trees with rolling grasslands and the occasional creek. Always quiet and always peaceful.
