Ever hear of Dungeness Crab?  It comes from right here where I live in Washington.  The Dungeness River flows right through Sequim, Washington and empties into the Straits of Juan De Fuca.  There are a quite a few favorite fishing spots along the river.  One that is a favorite also doubles as a swimming hole for the youngsters in our town.  This spot is a favorite painting spot as well. This is a plein air piece (painted on location) on a summer day.
