LANDSCAPE PAINTINGSI love to paint the landscape. But the scene has to be extraordinary to get my attention. Perhaps its the light or just the way the elements in the scene are arranged that make it significant to me. Again...light is the main player in all these pieces. I'm not partial to one medium or another when it comes to landscapes although, at least for me, pastels lend themselves beautifully to plein air (on location painting) and the scene usually paints itself with them.

SOLD The Discovery Trail winds from Port Angeles, WA east through Sequim and will eventually be extended all the way to Port Townsend. It is a paved trail that meanders over meadows and back yards, beside beaches and through deep woods. This stretch is near my home and I walk it daily.

While the painting is sold, I have beautiful full size 12" x 18" prints available. These come already double matted to fit a standard 18" x 24" frame.
